Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using CS Elite ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CS Elite provides a community platform for Counter-Strike players in the CS Elite FACEIT club. The Service includes:

• A player reporting system to maintain community standards
• Player profiles and conduct tracking
• Integration with FACEIT for authentication and club membership verification
• Admin moderation tools for managing the community

We do not guarantee access to any particular feature or platform, and features may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with our Code of Conduct. You must not:

• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Violate any applicable laws or third-party terms (including FACEIT's)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
• Use the Service to distribute spam or malware
• Submit false or malicious reports about other players
• Abuse the reporting system or attempt to manipulate conduct scores

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have violated these terms. Violations of our Code of Conduct may result in increased conduct points, club bans, or permanent removal from the community.

4. Reporting and Moderation

The Service includes a player reporting system. By using this system, you agree that:

• Reports should be made in good faith and based on actual violations
• We may review, investigate, and take action on reports at our discretion
• False or malicious reports may result in penalties to the reporter
• Conduct points and bans are determined by our moderation team and algorithms
• We reserve the right to remove players from the club or Service for any reason

Reporting and moderation decisions are final and may not be subject to appeal.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CS Elite and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars (100 USD), whichever is less.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g. FACEIT). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Portugal.
